had jiffy lube change my rear diff oil ( i know that was a BIG mistake ) they put in 80w90. my repair manual says to use 75w140 .. will i be ok with this 80w90 in a 1999 f150 w/ 3 55 non-ls rear end . or should i change to 75w140 as soon as possible.. i called a local ford dealer here in miami and they said they also use 80w90.. they do not use 75w140 because it does not remove moisture very well .. i do not do any towing and very little heavy hauling thanks for any input

80W90 is for a Standard Rear-End
75W140 is for the traction lock rear-end
You should be fine

Any kind of towing I would go with the 75w140 but you say you don't so 80w90 should be fine.
