CAA/AAA plus is the way to go. Had it for years. Have used it for bikes a few times. The membership pays for itself with the discounts I get using it at hotels, restaurants, etc.

Do we over think? Absolutely! But call me crazy, I am certain that my cars run better on certain manufacturer of oils. In my almost 30 years of driving I've only used conventional oils. I have found that the wife's GM runs better on Quaker State Advanced Durability and my Chrysler prefers...

1. Wash and wax bike 2. Clean and lube chain 3. Fresh oil change 4. Fill tank and add 1/4 bottle of seafoam 5. Remove battery and put on a maintainer. 6. Put bike up on stands and put on the bike cover That's my routine. Come spring I check the air in the tires and off I go!
