Hers a link to grantcunningham.com discussing firearms lubrication. I'm a avid shooter and am always looking for the best lubes for my AR, M1A, 1911s, etc. Discuss.
Just want to ad that for the AR I have been using Mobil 1 full synthetic 5w30 as my AR oil. I found that any carbon on the bcg...
Just started using the MLM darling of the oil world, Amsoil 0W20 (ASM). I have noticed a marked difference in cold engine operation with this VS my previous 5W20s and MPG has jumped up by .5.
I have a 2004 Ford E350 with a V10 modular motor. GVWR is 13500 lbs. Truck is used as a delivery truck (looks like a U-Haul van) and am wondering if 0W20 Amsoil would be a good oil for it and if so what max OCI would be wise? Right now I am using Schaeffers 5W20 Series 7000 and Wix filters...
My votes for best: TH400, 727 & C6. TH350 also very good but need more maintenance that the "big three". Worst: too many to list.
Best manuals: Chrysler Hemi 4-speed, Ford toploader. Muncie was weak even the M22 "Pebble Crusher" but not a smoother shifting 4-speed from the big three could be found.

Scheaffers 704, '06 Mustang GT 5spd stick, C&L, AEM Dryflow filter, Brenspeed 93 tune, go 6000 mi OCI. Taken (not stirred) several times per week to redline, slam-bam thank you maam through the gears, combined with three mile drive to & from work.
I went roller in my Pontiac..... how nice not to have to do a 20-30 minute break-in and worry about a lobe going flat. That and the power. "Once you go roller you never go back". Sure it's more $$$ initially but once you lose a cam the roller sure looks good.
HDEOs is what I used when I ran a...
