A quick question for you all. I just got my bottle of Auto-Rx and will be using it when I get my oil changed next week. My jetta (just like many others) consumes about a quart every 1200 miles or so. Will this effect the auto-rx treatment? Should I just top-off the oil as I always do or will...

Yeah, I think I'll just switch over and do a few short OCIs. I've noticed an intermittent hard shift between 2nd and 3rd gear also, so I'll have em do the "sealed" transmission service while its in for the 60K service. Thanks.

What's the pH of Auto-Rx? If it's fairly basic get in to see an eye care professional. Bases do BAD things to eyes even after a flush.
