Post your latest oil change

My friend's 2007 Crown Vic P71 with about... 190k miles? Gauge cluster is swapped so idk. Gosh I miss mine, can't wait til I get a truck to replace the hole in my life from it LOL.

Anyway, out came what I believe a mixture of Chevron Supreme and Castrol Magnatec with a MicroGard filter. We were aiming for 7K but I have a feeling it was just a liiiiiiittle bit beyond that.

In went some random mix of oil that I keep in 5 gallon buckets that consists of various leftover oils and another MicroGard filter.

And yes I'll be doing a cut and post of the filter from today's oil change, maybe tomorrow.

2016 GMC 2500 6.0L; out whatever Kal Tire put in & Wix xxx60 filter.

In; 0W40 M-1 Euro blend and the longer 6.2 filter (Delco).

29,500 kms/3950 hours!!! (company truck)

Why on earth would anybody need a 0W anything?

This truck could end up in Churchill, Manitoba or Hay River, NT

But, not with me in it.

edit.. 75w90 in both ends

Why blend you'll ask? Can't pass up 1.00 a quart oils. The Widman calculator is my friend.
This change was 7.00 including the filter WM closed out when they switched to the new vendor.

Out: 5w30 pennzoil conventional and TG3682

In: 0w40 Castrol and QS3682

It was a spur of the moment oil change and this motor really only has 60k miles on it. But the valve stem seals appear to leak (noticed blue smoke on a cold start after a week), so hopefully won't cause any issues going to the castrol that was meant for my VW lol.

First Oil Change on factory new vehicle @ 2800 miles. Wanted to get the factory oil and all the break-in particles out before winter.
Plan to do next oil change and first UOA when this oil has 6,000 miles.

Out: Factory oil
In: Milesyn 0w20, Fram 6607 Ultra Guard

Running low on oil reserves. 5 vehicles in the family and all have been using this Milesyn oil for the last 4 years or so along with Fram and Wix oil filters. Depending on the vehicle, typical OCI is 5000 to 6500 miles. I go thru almost two, 5-gallon pails of this every year. I've never done UOA before but will start this year and try to extend the intervals a little.
