Wrong country. Here they fine and fire even hospital employees who access patient information when their jobs don't require it. Selling it or simply divulging it is a much more serious offence.

People want everything for free. OP complains of methods to protect privacy however the cost of using YouTube which is a wealth of information is sharing some data with them.

Pay for a VPN and I think your IP potentially will get masked. With who are you concerned your IP get exposed? YouTube obviously knows it however the end user, doubt it. Just locations get mapped at a gross level the last time I peeked.
