Nothing to worry about here. It's simply the "Plus" feature of the DistancePlus filter.

Premium filter, premium tear.

BTW, where's that guy who told me it was user error? Has he commented yet?

Many, many, many engines (like the one in my Grandpa's 1959 Chevrolet Apache with a 235)
had only a bypass filter - - no full flow filter.

That truck is still running today (My aunt, his daughter - has it now).
Still runs great, about 120,000 miles and doesn't burn oil.
