I don't think there's a passenger vehicle made today without electronic throttle control.
 
I'd be shocked if it didn't have it. My '10 Tundra and '11 Camry have DBW throttle.

I could be wrong, but VSC all but requires it--if not requires it, then its job is made easier by having full control over throttle.
 
My 2003 4Runner is "drive-by-wire". If your dealer can't answer basic questions about the vehicle he's there to sell you maybe you should move on to the next dealer. Maybe they have someone that knows how the "gas pedal" works. You'd better forget asking if the pistons go up and down or round and round.
 
It's the same thing. A cable hasn't been connected to a throttle body in close to 15 years.
