Sucks in this day and age having to adjust valves, ridiculous!

Wonder what the Honda stealership gets?

Not many do it.

I would prefer adjusting valves rather than having drum brakes in this day and age.

Stealership would probably get $300, even more. Most of the time they wouldn't recommend adjusting it unless the valvetrain is really loud.

It literally takes less than two hours to adjust, you just need a feeler gauge (metric would be better), some patience and strong back muscles. If it's a Subaru, then it is another story.

+1. Stealerships won't suggest this at all on service orders, usually.

I4 Honda is definitely a lot easier, I must say!

My local dealer quoted me more than $400 for my 2005 CR-V. My normal indy mechanic did it for $260.
