Getting email notification for post responses?

When I first signed up, I thought I checked a box to receive emails when I get a post response, so far I have received 9 responses, but no email notifications. What did I do wrong?

You probably enabled notifications for Private Messages.

To be emailed for each reply to your posts, it looks like you need to Watch the thread you started, and enable the notification for your Watch Lists.

This is all done through My Stuff > Edit Preferences, and My Stuff > Watch Lists.
