I was there.
Best engine explosion I ever saw.
It took quite some time to get a fork lift to pick up the engine and carry it off the track.
The driver was only injured in the wallet.

Some already do, but I don't think this engine had external reinforcements.
This was the Hot Rod Semi class, which only allows single turbos. It's normally the multistage turbocharged diesels that unzip like that.
