My daughter has a 2007 optima that I use 5w20 syn of different brands. The last 2 oil changes I have had to add 1 qt of make up at 2500 miles. I usually run 5-6koci's. the car is not leaking a bit. Should I be concerned?

Try some 5w30 and see what happens.
1. Check PCV valve if bad replace.
2. How many miles is on the car.
3. I know some people will not agree, But I have seen and increase in oil consumption when jumping from like Valvoline Synpower to PU and very bad when going from QSUD to M1. that is why I stooped jumping around.

I'd actually tell you to try a 5w20 high mileage.
I would try using a 5w-30 high mileage oil (e.g. Maxlife) for the next two oil changes.
I'd spend my time looking for a problem besides the oil.
Once you eliminate the PCV and other obvious things like leaks and such then simply try a light 30w grade.
