JASO DH-2 meets DH-1?

So if an full synthetic oil certified to jaso DH-2 is available, does that mean automatic certification to jaso DH-1?

Kinda, sorta, but not completely. For example, DH-2 has a minimum TBN requirement of only 5.5. So, theoretically you could have an oil with a TBN of 7 that may meet DH-2 but would not meet DH-1.
