As a boomer, that's methed up...
It's a tongue in cheek comment meant to be humorous. The 70s was quite an era.

Balanced by those who are ignorant of actual data.Ya people are sometimes ignorant of context.
His observations don’t translate into use WHAT SO EVER so doing oil show downs and brackets is super annoying. Even more annoying is Amsoil using that nonsense as advertising material. For example his bearing test has been shown useless in an engine application and his cold “flow” test have shown to be useless in cold “pump” ability. He just tallied up additive count with disregard to balance, type or effectiveness and whichever had the most was scored better. Yet he spent WEEKS bracketing oils based on this nonsense AND declaring a winner. I’d say that’s a little more than observation. He does do some useful testing but OIL is not one of them. He doesn’t have the equipment, money, time or knowledge to present rankings the way he did. He might have the money the way that was eaten up lol.PF never, ever claimed or otherwise presented himself as an 'oil expert". He gives his observation, and leaves it at that.
Amsoil used PF video? What what??His observations don’t translate into use WHAT SO EVER so doing oil show downs and brackets is super annoying. Simple solution. Don't like it, don't watch it. Thats what I do with Scotty and LSJr.His observations don’t translate into use WHAT SO EVER so doing oil show downs and brackets is super annoying. For the life of me, I cannot understand why this guy is not wildly popular with oil and automotive enthusiasts.
The AI slop train is overtaking all major platforms, providing a ceaseless barrage of hallucinated garbage. Saw an AI post on FB yesterday bragging about how Ontario has connected the world's first SMR to the grid... Except we literally just placed the basemat for the unit a few weeks ago, which officially marks the start of "construction". We'll be lucky if it's done by 2030.A.I. Youtube slop is killing the military war history genre. So many channels have popped up within the last 6 months have basically become lying fantasy pieces of events that never happen and not just events that are in question.
The guy that adds up “wear metals” from singular UOA and ranks an oil.I like Lake Speed, Jr and I'm even doing an oil test with him now. I just wish that YouTube would stop the garbage AI videos.
Ridiculous comment …So did the boomers when they were that age, but instead of Youtube shorts and Tiktoks, they cured their attention span and boredom with amphetamines and quaaludes.
LSJr. is the king of the "single data point", something that would never, ever fly in industry. The guy that adds up “wear metals” from singular UOA and ranks an oil.
