This year, my vote goes to the Paul McCartney song "Wonderful Christmas Time" that is in heavy rotation on radio stations now.

That was on the van pool's radio the other day, at 6am, pitch black outside, cold, and tired.

Yeah, we were having a "wonderful Christmas time".

Most of them for me. The songs are so over used in commercials, that they remind me of the stupid products they trying to make me buy.

Christmas, Christmas, don't be late by Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Has no discernible plot. Ok, Alvin can't be found in time for rehearsal.

Additionally has no musical reason to exist.

I kinda like all the synthesisers in OPs song, reminds me of "silly love songs".

Another pleasantly annoying one is "The Waitresses" "Christmas Wrapping."

A guy at work and I keep tabs on the horrible ones. Tunes started to play about the tuesday before thanksgiving. 99% are horrible.

I enjoy hearing Greg Lake's "Father Christmas" and the Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping" and Tori Amos "Little Drummer Boy"; that is about it.

"There is something stuck up in the chimney, and I don't know what it is" Is my least fave.

"Ding, Fries are done" reminds me of our I.T. Department....

"Jingle Dogs/Cats" got old real quick.

ditto! all Xmas songs incl. but not limited to "lil drumma boyz", etc. drive me nuts!

Used to be when the society was much more simpler than now, these songs were great and I luv'ed them all. Now, radio stations started setting their broadcasts on random repeat mode starting as early as mid-November (1.5+mnths before Xmas), and that literally drove myself and wifey crazy...

Sorry, it's prolly full moon tonite and I'm not in a good mood.

Q.

John Denver, I kid you not: "Please Daddy (Don't Get Drunk this Christmas)". I honestly couldn't believe it when I first came across it. It's a very different song. Not typical john Denver. It's actually rather sad.

All of them, pretty much.
I find them annoying, blaring everywhere, same song, different versions, at workplaces, which can be very distracting.
