Your favorite company logo?

Verizon has been using this logo on the rear of their service vehicles. It probably means a lot more to most people than the Verizon name and logo, which is why they use it.

They also have been using it on payphones which is kind of interesting when they're in former GTE/Contel areas that were never part of the "Bell System" (I guess maybe they are now that Verizon bought them out).

The Gulf logo, on a Ford GT race car from the sixties always seem to go together. The Shell seashell should never be changed. The modern BP is politically correct and OK in my book.

Now that this has gotten back on track & off the filthy sicko stuff(I was better off when I didn't know!); yup I remember some dandies.

Go Sinclair! Dad bought gas at the local full service Sinclair station just a couple of blocks away, & I used to air up my bicycle tires there. I always loved that big green Brontosaurus, used to have a light green one I got at a dinosaur exhibit at the State Fair that looked pretty similar. When Sinclair pulled out of NE Texas it became an Arco station, then later a Gulf, & for many years now has been Chevron. Along the way they rebuilt the station & installed new tanks. Dad began buying gas there in 1955 or 1956, I still buy a lot of gas there in 2006. That's longevity.

Remember when Pontiacs had the Indian Chief on the hood? I do, that was the first family car I can remember.(Pontiac was- oh, look it up! He was big time Famous!)

Mobil's red Pegasus was pretty cool too. I think it was left over somehow from the old Standard Oil breakup.

That Kendall logo musta' been a Commie plot to warp the collective minds of American youth.

Look at the "thumb" and the part of the palm immediately next to the thumb.

There is NO way the Commie pinko pervert artist drawing that logo was thinking of a thumb!!!!!

It's obviously an appendage of the private kind with the general representation of furry nodules attached.

That Commie plot was a success... just look at what's on the TV and radio today.

A travesty.

I always liked the logo on the backs of my Seiko diver's watches.
It's based on a famous painting(or woodcut?) by Hosukai called The Great Wave of Kanagawa. I think.
