In ricer logic, this f*rt can has to be good for adding at least 2,000 horsepower. After all, look at how big it its. Not to mention how good it will sound!

I was in the market looking for a Honda Accord the last month or so, I looked at several, and most were not purchased due to the muffler/can whatever you call it addition. I declare if dealers had a clue as to what the average public thought about these things they would have changed them out, spent the few bucks. When I see one on a used car I think ragged out by teenager ( I have been guilty doing the same except with a 350 v-8 2.5" pipes with 3" chrome tips that were about 2' long) motor had real additions that boosted horsepower, but even then my buddies would add a set of chrome plated valve covers on a v-8 that would get them at least 50 horses. So it's always been that way, just a different road to get to the destination now.

I'm waiting 'til someone actually uses a Folger's can.

On that note, there's a certain early '80s Toyota pickup that parks in my apartment complex with a very annoying [censored] can on it. [censored] cans and trucks definitely do not mix.

A guy I race with put one on his Hyundai Excel bracket car. Runs a blistering 20-flat

Wrong brand.

My ION has a custom exhaust, but I made sure not to have one of those stupid looking pipes. I bought some 304 stainless 2.5 inch mandrel bends, a 304 stainless muffler, and a 304 stainless resonator. The tail pipe is simply a piece of 2.5 inch stainless steel. Those who are not familiar with the ION might think that it is a factory pipe.

However, the sound change and increase in power are certainly not hidden.

My car has two "large" exhaust tips on the back, but they're nice and oval-shaped and attached to something that actually resembles real mufflers, unlike that stupid coffee can [censored] you'd find on a Civic. The sound is actually quite nice and deep for a 4-cylinder, doesn't sound like a weed whacker at all.

Dark outside so no pic right now
