Might as well start using synthetic air in your tires....

Some do, it's called nitrogen.

Earth's atmosphere has been about 65% nitrogen since before life began on this planet. Where do you come up with the notion that it can be considered a "synthetic"?

Becaue it's pure nitrogen, as opposed to the mixture that makes up the atmosphere. Compare it to a Group III "synthetic." At any rate, you may notice that I "winked" when I posted that...

All Elements are synthetic on the notion that all started off as Hyrdogen protons in the trillioneth of seconds after the big bang when they were converted into heavier elements.

Whether this qualifies as a "synethesis v. fusion" who knows.

My science knowledge is strictly undergrad for now *lol*

Then again another physc told me that the suns creates elements to this way or something like that.

80k is 20k overdue for my car.

Odd you should say this. Just about every OEM belt since I've owned an 86 Tempo has gone just about 60k on the original belt (typcially serpentine). But the replacement belts rarely last me 20k. Now since I tend to keep cars forever ..and they rack up mileage slower the longer that I own them ..this could be a factor...or ..the "degradation" in parts quality can dip that much in the span of 60k from the OEM issue of the part.

Advance Auto sells a junque belt. It would squeal after about 1 hour of use. But I've also had limited results with Gates and others.
