Who ahs the year end oil clearance sales? Autozone, AAP, O'Reilly's. Going to need some oil and may as well save some money while at it. Need snowblower oil and the 3 cars. Not too picky what kind but prefer synthetic to run longer interval and better cold weather start up flow.

There are still plenty of $2 oils left at AutoZone...though not a lot of choices in 5w30 synthetics. Plenty of conventional oil choices though at $2/qt. Get to your local store asap.
You have the Pennzoil and QSUD rebates still in effect until Dec 31st. So the worse you could do is to buy some PP/PU at Walmart for $25/jug and get a $10 rebate on it....net $3/qt. I think the NAPA synthetic might still be on sale for $2.99/qt.
If you're looking for clearance oils you need to start watching the forum closely from November through December. The AZ clearances only started 2 weeks ago and caught most of us by surprise that they would even have one.

Managed to snag 8 5qt jugs of Castrol Edge 0W40 and 10 quarts of the same in 5w30. Enough stash to last quite a while. I plan to change my oil in 3 cars and Ariens snowblower with 254cc engine. it calls for 5w30 so good to go. Haven't started it yet this year.
