Good question.

They could be someone like roofless and say they have every right to do what they're doing, it's an aircraft, you don't own the tens of feet above your house etc.

How would say the farmer in the above video react to that? Good question indeed.

Yes, harassing people flying low over their property like that certainly should be considered a crime.

It is against the law, if you would have read what I posted.

Most, if not all, are model aircraft:

4.2.3 Model Aircraft. A UA that is:

• Capable of sustained flight in the atmosphere;

• Flown within VLOS of the person operating the aircraft; and

• Flown for hobby or recreational purposes.

Part 107 Rules do not apply to model aircraft. See, 4.1:

CHAPTER 4. PART 107 SUBPART A, GENERAL

4.1 Applicability. This chapter provides guidance regarding the applicability of part 107 to
civil small UA operations conducted within the NAS. However, part 107 does not apply
to the following:

1. Model aircraft that are operated in accordance with part 101 subpart E, Model
Aircraft), which applies to model aircraft meeting all of the following criteria:

I don't know if it's legal or illegal to shoot down someone's model airplane over your property. Regardless, manned, unmanned, or model, if it is so close to Granny that she can take it down with a scatter gun from her own property, it's being flown too low and too close. Seems simple enough.
