I guess it all comes down to what your definition of "capable" is. You obviously are satisfied with a much lower degree of capability with your sights then most are.
I agree, the XS big dots are IMO the worst all around sights I've used. I have a buddy who had a "trainer" or someone tell him to get these things. He was talking up a storm about how great they were, untill he actually got them. After that his tune changed. To me they are no faster up close and [censored] slow at range. Can they be used accurately sure, but between the big dots and the factory sights, I'd take the latter. On a side note Ive been running the straight 8s now for a little while on a sweet little STI duty one, and I really like them.
