"Ultimately, it became the most popular selling regional oil in America. Xcel is fast becoming America's most popular brand of high quality motor oil at a price that will bring smiles to your face and put a jingle in your pocket."

That's funny. I've never heard of this oil until today. I guess I should get out more often.

I'll 2nd that.

I think it derived from STP. If you could guys ask about it when you change oil. I think its new..

I guess I should have looked at the website link before posting. Not the same Xcel. The Walmart one must be spelled differently.

The super turbo 5w-20 is only 6.5 cst at 100c.

I'll take amsoil at 9 cst.

I'm saying I've never heard of Xcel lubricants and I prefer a thicker 20 weight then the bottom of the 20 weight range at 6.5 cst. The syn blend from xcel is only 7.4 cst still pretty thin even for a 20wt. My engine shears oil so that 20 weight will be a 10w when I start the car so I hope they plan on some thickening to occur.

Amsoil does have a proven track record. Has anyone heard or Xcel Lubricants before?

Darn there are so many Oil brands out there! But still depends on the regional specs.
