So I had a $10 rebate digital AMEX card I previously got from Castrol. Thanks Castrol! I decided to buy this filter for my 2000 V6 Camry with 215k. I also boughy a night light for my bathroom since I put my now 4 month old puppy in there at night since she has not figured out she has a dog door and backyard.

I figure this filter will be a good match for my 30k oci with the new Gf7 and SQ specs. I run a 3X multiplier with the new specs so if its rated for 10k miles I times by 3.

This filter was made in Malaysia and has holes instead of louvers. I like louvers since they are most often closed and force the filter into bypass. My train of thought is that the engine will get more oil flow if it is not forced to pump through the media. Any thoughts on this?

Well here are the new pics.

Lots of cool stuff to read on the box. Worked well for when I traded my puppy for the bathroom.

Whats with the Die No? I thought the FDA was removing die's from our products for health reasons.

This filter is 3rd in line for my preper stash so stay tuned for the C&P in about 90k miles (6-7 years).

I use the PL10241 on the Craftsman rider but it's made in USA. It seems this line is offshored for build. Do you plan to cut it open after use?

Find a way to eliminate the oil filter all together. Most here don't think oil filters do anything anyway, lol.

o_O 😄

The made in China M&H "purolator" TL c&p anecdotes have looked good. Can't recall seeing one made in Mayalsia, but using the TL anecdotes posted, should be fine. Unlike the US made M&H Purolator TL, the China made also use holes in tube.

As for the louver preference reasoning thoughts.......🤪

Shouldn't this thread be in the humor section? OP prefers the filter go into bypass for his 30kmile OCIs and he traded his dog for a bathroom?
Don't care what you use for an oil and filter, but trading your dog?? Shame! :ROFLMAO:

Take them out on a leash and a puppy learns fast where to do his things. On their own they look for cat poo to eat and sometimes eat their own poo too. I think puppies eat a lot of poo when they are weaning, so they like it.

The Purolator Tech is actually a well constructed oil filter.
It goes on sale at Amazon perhaps every 3 months for about $2 a filter.
I try to stock up on them during that brief sale.
