So I got my Purolator Tech TL14670 came from Amazon. About $3.50 with shipping. Its the Fram/Supertech equivalent of the ST16. Dodge Dakota V8. Mailed in a paper envelope so box.was a little messed up, but filter looked fine so I'm running it.
Made in USA. Holes instead of louvers. No bypass valve at bottom. The last Fram I used had one so im scratching my head. Thoughts?
On the Inside top from the ADBV there is a thick stiff material that i thought was part of the ADBVbut its stiff so I dont know. Is that a Combo valve? I am not familiar. Tried to get a picture but angle and lighting was off.
I will C&P but thats 2 years away! Lol. Change once a year. Only 1400 miles last year.
Also what is the picture of the oil drop with the line thru it on their install steps? Anti oil? Just curios? Lol
