Remember Castrol GTX Synblend 5w30 and 5w-20 claims to beat SuperTech 5w30's Sequence IVA wear test, 18 microns to 28 microns. Not much difference, some there. Wish everybody supplied that info. Performance tests are better than chemistry arguments.

I think Citgo and XOM in different parts of the country. If anyone knows otherwise, please correct me.

Citgo and XOM make ST conventional depending on location, but to my knowledge the only supplier (IIRC since the PZQS days) of ST syn and ST HM has been WPP.

No problem. I'm no ST expert by any means, but I have been using them since dirt was clean and following who makes it since being here at BITOG.

If you want to be sure check the jugs. The WPP oils say so on the bottom. Also check wal-marts site for supplier info: http://msds.walmartstores.com/
In the northwest it's definitely Citgo. I just checked the bottles last week. Let us know what you find, I heard they had more than one supplier. Be nice to know what part of the country gets Warren or Citgo.

For sure its WPP here. Stamped on the bottom of the jug. For a short period of time I was anti Citgo, but after corresponding with their good folks in Houston, I have changed my mind. So even if it were Citgo, as long as the specs impress me, I'd use it as well.
