It is quite possible that it works fine long term. It is also possible that higher speed cornering causes loss of air and you don't notice it right away.
Do you drive fast enough that you can't recover from quick tire pressure loss? Is the vehicle high center of gravity? Do you have a family that depends on you? All these things would factor into my assessment. I am as frugal as anyone but that tire does not look expensive, am I wrong? It is easy for me to spend someone else's money if it makes ME feel safer on the road with someone else.
It will probably be fine. "Probably", but if you take these kinds of risks in too many areas of life, then something will eventually bite you in the arse. Your call.

This is the best case scenario running this tire. I wouldn't want it on the front where steering rolls back and forth across the shoulder of the tire.DT never really want s you to plug a tire. They want to sell you a tire, or a set.
With that much tread, I as plugging it and putting it on the back.
