Would This Make a Good Filter Cutter?

I saw this and thought that if it is big enough to score a wine bottle, it ought to fit any oil filter. Thoughts?

But scoring a glass bottle and cutting a metal can require different blades and pressure.

I also wonder what it costs. Even a premium Longacre cutter is around $65 shipped.

I second just going with the Longacre unless you can find the older HF exhaust cutter.

I guess if you can get a Long Acre for under 60 that is still the way to go.

That is not a cutting blade on there. It will just dent the can in where it presses. You will have a nice rolled seam though.
