Worn rotor….

I’ve seen these posts but this is a first time in person for me. I don’t know how you could drive it to this point and not feel something wrong. It actually passed state inspection within the last year too. Other side was on its way but not quite there yet.

Does the color of the hat suggest that this rotor had some sort of anti-corrosion coating which failed? The fin design seems rather useless.

LOL..I just dawned on me that someone may have lathered anti-seize all over the hat. Is that a thing up north? The hat looks like it has a coating similar to what I've seen with Zimmerman rotors.

If you're talking about the vents my point was that the vents are only open to the outer rim of the rotor. I forgot how common that is.
