He was asked about this on the air. He was accused of teaching children poor English. His response was

"I'm teachin' poor English, but learnin' good baseball."
 
Another exciting game. This has been the most entertaining series in my recent memory, although I boycotted last year entirely.

Will the Jays do better against Yamamoto than the first time? I think so, but I'm still expecting a game 7. This has been a fun ride.
 
Finally got to watch. What the heck happened to the Dodgers? Last I saw them they were having 100mph hits go right to them defensively and were hitting their own 80mph handle shots over the infield. Always in the right spots and always missing gloves. They looked like they'd never lose a game again. Roberts used to just run a lineup out there and sit with a cocktail for a couple of hours. Now I saw him have to manage and go on to the field. Such a difference.
 
Watched the game last night from the 7th inning to the end. Fairly entertaining, even though I don't have a favorite in this WS. I'm just glad it hasn't been a 4-0 wipeout from either side. I'll probably watch at least some game 6.

There's an apocryphal story about Dizzy Dean that I hope was true:

A physicist was asked about Dean's curve ball, and said that the path of the ball didn't actually curve; rather, it appeared to curve - that is, the observer had been fooled by an optical illusion.

This was reported to Mr Dean, who purportedly replied, "Youse get Mr Smarty-Pants Perfesser to stand behind dat tree, an' I'll hit 'im wit' my optical illusion!"
 
I hope the Blue Jays can get a few more runs these last two innings and win. I wouldn’t mind game 7 but that also gives the Dodgers a chance which I think most of us don’t want. I wish they would not do Halloween games though it’s been super annoying to have to keep getting up and giving candy while trying to watch the game.

Turned off the lights here, we’re done with doorbells tonight.

Would love to see the Jays battle back but they are down to 9 outs. 😮

Yamamoto is not going to make the whole game tonight maybe they can get to him.
 
With nobody out and guys on 2nd and 3rd I thought for sure I was about to witness a historic comeback but here we go to game 7. If Barger wasn’t tagged out it would’ve been Springer up to bat and I bet he would’ve done something amazing
