WORLD CUP 2026 THREAD

7th ranked team vs. the 64th?
Why the lack of faith?
Well there you go

USA is over rated at 17th

Faith doesn’t win futbol games

I’m of a mind good coaching counts for more than usual in these sudden death games

I am nervous no doubt but we were in a decent group and we can take Paraguay elimination of Germany as a positive and a warning when you think about it

Horrible call by VAR, Belgian player goes into the Senegalese player. Watch the replay, the Senegalese player is not even looking in the direction of the Belgian player, he's looking at the ball.

Brutal, absolutely brutal.

Yes, very controversial penalty in the the beginning of the first extra time. I was ready to watch penalties and the referee ruined it.

The winner from tonight's game will play with Belgium.

In the first half it looked like all the US attacks happened from the right. Not sure who's the right field offensive player.

The US team is much faster and passes the ball among their players very accurately. I like the American game style is very European looking. Not surprisingly their coach is Italian guy. Get's about $7 mil. a year.

Complete garbage call

Red card??

Bunker now guys
Red card call was correct—very dangerous move with the cleats in the ankle, almost broke it. Referees were giving red cards for moves like for the last 30 years.

FIFA has very strict rules about such a dangerous play with stepping over or kicking somebody with the sole of the cleats—it cause very painful injuries especially at the ankles or the knees.
