While the skill level of top soccer players is off the charts I find soccer can be boring due to the lack of scoring. When a game can end with a score of 1-0 it's hard to stay excited watching it.

The field is too big.
Now on a field that size put 5 balls and 30 players a side and we'd have a game!

I’m not sure how many games in Seattle and Vancouver but I’m not going to any games. Camping now so will miss the USA game on the tube. Fan fests are just stupid

I think there are six. All at Arrowhead Stadium with a capacity of 72,000 seats. It will be interesting to see if the place is packed . No mention on local news that they are sold out or not. Also know FIFA cancelled about 75% of the blocks of rooms they had reserved. Hotels are not happy. Hope they get their breakup fee.

I saw some fluff piece on them, and somehow there were bagpipes playing in the background. Not sure if they were real or someone was just playing a recording, but it seemed to add to the atmosphere. Probably also with a lot of Scotch whisky.

Not sure, but none the less, great to see the respect from the kiwi captain and keeper in the tunnel before walking out onto the pitch. Fans are also being respectful and civil from what I can see, @Pablo, especially during the anthem.

So it's been pretty crazy all the upsets, where even a draw can be one. I guess Spain and Cape Verde going scoreless was one. Or Brazil having to come back for a 1-1 draw against Morocco, although they're fairly good.
