Is my wife the only one that can twist a seat belt in less than 5 minutes? She can somehow get my seat belts twisted in the buckle and it takes me hrs to straighten it out. Then shut in the door latch too!

In our safety checks we check for twisted belts - they don't retract when twisted, and when they are so bad they are like a piece of rope, that's not considered safe either. In NZ it appears to be ethnic - my last job I saw it everyday, current job a couple of times a year.

Given the amount of work it sometimes takes to untwist a seatbelt, I just can't understand how they get that way in the first place.

My wife twists them 1-2 twists, and she's Asian, lol.

I never twist mine; always careful to put back straight so
then there's no need to untwist. Duh, lol.

it takes you "hrs" to straighten out a seat belt ?that's sad.
there's only one thing to do -- put on your Kevlar, grab your AR, and about 20 clips, and go on a shooting spree!
or, pee in the cowl.

* do NOT go on a shooting spree. this is just a goofy reply to a goofy thread topic.
thanks for a morning laugh, and have a good day.
