Wix XP filters for small engines?

If I can get a wix xp oil filter for $2 more should I use that or go with just a regular wix?

Gonna be using it on a newer husqvarna lawn tractor and John deere push mower. I plan on changing oil and filter yearly which is about 50 hours

The XP is my go to filter. Total overkill for most everyone including what you want to do. If you won't miss the two bucks and you sleep better, buy it. There will be no real benefit. You will change it out long before it needs to be changed, even with the regular Wix.

A JD push mower with an oil filter? Very interesting.

$2 extra isnt a huge deal IMO. Id get one of each.
