Wix oil filter duration question

I just put a white Wix oil filter on my son's 2003 Nissan Altima. I am hoping he can run this filter and QSUD until about March or maybe April. He puts about 7-800 miles a month on the car.

Any doubts about this filter? I have never used Wix and don't know anything about them. I got it with the O'Reilly deal months ago.

I'd go up to 10k with a Wix without a second thought. Maybe the best standard filter available.

I've gone 1 year /12,000mi on a basic fram as well as Purolator classic. You have nothing to worry about.

Change the oil filter once per year and the oil twice per year.

I routinely go multi-years, up to 10k"ish" miles on Wix with never a second thought.

Just wrapping up three years and 160 hours on my Scag; three years and 9k miles on my Dmax as well. (UOAs and filter pix pending the O/FCI in the next few weeks).

Yeah - I think the Wix will live a few thousand miles until March ...

Im new to Wix this year but they seem to be great oil filters so far. I have used the napa gold which is made by wix and we are now buying their jobber filters. They are a little more money but seem to be great quality.

Napa gold and wix are the same, including the numbers except that with the napa the first number is dropped
