Not even kidding.

Bill had issues with the Wix air filter on his Corolla not having the proper gasket material.

The air filter for my Saturn had strands of fuzzy stuff, plus the filter doesn't even fit securely in the box. There's about 1/3" of side to side wiggle, while the Fram and OE ones have none.

The oil filter size must not be right for the 51348 as the OE capacity will not fill the car to full when you use a 51348 filter.

I've never had problems with Wix oil filters. They're certainly better constructed than Frams. As for air filters, that's another story. I've heard bad things about the Wix air filters, and they do seem to have fewer pleats than Fram

Fram makes cheaply constructed oil filters and good quality air filters. Wix seems to be the reverse. Go figure.
