The media area is 1 1\2 inches tall.

It's a pretty small filter; the media area is 1 1/2 inches tall.

Looks good! I use one of these on my grandfather's Scag mower. There is a metal piece of the frame right behind the filter, so this is pretty much the only one that will fit. Even the stock shorter-version Kohler filter it came with was a huge pain to try and fish out of there. Definitely a dumb design on Scag's part.

Do I see a tear or nip on a pleat in the 7th photo down top right near base?

Thank you. Soon our 7 liter SC V8's will be running these if current trends continue

No, it's a piece of grass.

If you could, remove the caps and measure the stretched out media. I'm curious how much surface area is.
The Kawasaki 49065-7007 is a direct cross-ref for this filter and has about 41 sq. in.
The Wix 51348 has 102 sq. in., and the 51516 is 166 sq.in.
Thanks!

What does that mean? 2/20=20/41
Those are beta ratios, another way to express filter efficiency. WIX is the only manufaturer who uses this beta ratio format.

It means 50% @ 20μ, and 95% @ 41μ.

The 51056 is a tad taller and has a better beta ratio of 2/20=6/20 and it’s still considered a HD filter vs the 51348 which is LD
