About that time of year and I had my 99 RFI GTX at the dealer last year and had a bunch of stuff done to it. Now this year, I probably only put about 5 hours on it and don't need the RAVE valves cleaned, new plugs, etc. etc. and want to winterize it myself. Got to thinking about this technique. Mine as the adapter plug in the back so that you can hook up a water hose to it to let it run on land. What if I took my air compressor and slowly shot some air in there to get rid of all the water? Then pop off the temperature send unit, located right on top of the block and poured some antifreeze in it? You think that would work? I don't want to freeze my block but if I get all the water out by this method, do I really need antifreeze? How much air pressure you think? I mean, I'm not going to charge it up to 50 psi I or so, just enough to get the water evacuated.

I would put in a 70/30 mix of antifreeze or at least a 50/50 mix, just to be sure. The Green Hulk website has some good tips on winterizing so you might want to check there.
Thanks! Cool website. Didn't know the flushing port will require some pressure. I do have one of those pressurized yard sprayers. Make a solution of antifreeze and then crank up the 'doo, then spray the solution in the port until it comes out the pisser whole. That works.
