Will TW3 two cycle marine oil disappear?

Maxima K2 is a pre mix oil but its viscosity at 100c is only 13.6 cst. It runs just fine in injection systems in warm weather and probably in cold weather too although I've not tested it. Base oils matters too. Ester based thicken much less in cold weather.
O.K. great! Thanks for the info.
Then why after all (triple ester and "not thick enough") Maxima K2 is non-injection oil?

Ask them.
Well, before I contact Maxima oils with a question, for example "Why Maxima K2 oil is non-injector oil?". I went to their website and discovered that Maxima has two K2 oils - one is called Formula K2 and the other one is called Formula K2 Injector.

Here are the properties of both oils:

Maxima Formula K2
For all 2-stroke gasoline engines. Designed for high performance applications. Premix only formulation is safe for use at any OEM-recommended ratio.
Viscosity @ 40°C (cSt) 97.0
Viscosity @ 100°C (cSt) 13.6 (SAE 40?)

Maxima Formula K2 Injector
For all 2-stroke gasoline engines. Designed specifically for high performance direct-injected applications, but can be used as a premix at any OEM-recommended fuel oil ratio.
Under Features & Benefits: Compatible with most other 2T oil injection systems as well
Viscosity @ 40°C (cSt) 63.5
Viscosity @ 100°C (cSt) 10.7 (SAE 30?)

Can you explain, please, why the injector oil is lower viscosity?

All Maxima oil-injection oils are below 10 cSt at 100°C and below 60 cSt at 40°C. How can you explain that, please?

I am aware that Maxima has two versions of K2 and Super M for that matter.
I have also ran regular K2 in an injector system and it works just fine.

Injector oils are typically thinner, but that doesn't mean they have to be.
I can tell you for certain that most injector oils are as thick as Karo syrup in temps below 20 degrees. Yet they still work fine in snowmobiles.

Back to the original question - NMMA TCW3 is still easy to find here. Perhaps it gets used in allot of things …

It does indeed, but shouldn't be used in anything other than an outboard motors, Toro Rtek snow blowers or a Lawnboy mowers.

I want to ask them why Formula K2 is not good for oil injection and tell them that a guy I know (you) run it in warm weather in his oil injected machines. I want to see what they say.
I have also ran redline two stroke racing oil in snowmobiles in below zero temps.

An eye opener for you might be to place a sample of TCW3 oil in the freezer for a few days.
