Apparantly they are still much desired. My plant that makes GM large SUV's (all of them) has been working Maximum overtime since Sept and is forcasted to continue thru next year. Our "days in the field" numbers have been dropping each month. We are, for example, at 32 days for the Escalade and just under 50 for Tahoes. Optimum is 60 days, and for most of the year we were over 110 days. I can never figure the market out. As much as some folks hate SUV's (I feel you are in this group) and want to force people to drive small cars -more people are voting with their wallets and purchasing SUV's. I don't think SUV's are any problems -BUT some people driving them sure are.
