Why so many lower tier 2 stroke oils out there

Ran across this Quaker State 2 stroke oil today. Why is it and so many others not FD rated oils? Im certain that sopus can make a better oil but they dont.

Because they can and most folks don’t care? Profit point? Pros know better?

It’s not tcw-3 is it?

For seldom used home ope it may not matter in the big scheme.

It’s pretty much viewed as dead end technology. I hate that…but it is.

I still have a partial quart of this exact oil in my stash. Years ago, while under heavy load, I seized a old Lawn-Boy F-series engine with it. I have not used it since.

Price point for the average user who is not a BITOG'er looking at cost and not what's good for the equipment.
