I would take a red interior over an all black or grey interior in a New York second.Test drove some SUV's yesterday, BMW, Lexus, Acura, Audi all had interiors that looked like a cheap New Orleans brothel. I keep my cars longer than the average bear, I would not want that for more than a week. I am sure manufacturers' "careful" focus group studies tell them this is the thing. I see this as the next "Hunter Green" fad. As all the ones I saw were CPO's, this may indicate the previous owner grew tired as well.
This!!!! Black interiors in particular. Black seats in a car is so boring. I can't adequately express how much is dislike black interiors.Maybe it's because people are tired of black, gray or tan.
My '03 was all red (carpet, doors, and dash) with Silverstone exterior.I like a red interior, especially on a silver or gray car but it cannot be too garish a shade of red. My favorite, and sorely missed:

He knows what he's got!I'm glad to see we have so many fans of the w****house red interiors here. I'm excited to submit for your consideration this 1980 Ford Bronco, complete with an interior trashy enough (in a good way!!) to make Lady Marmalade blush.
This can be yours for only $9999.00
Doesn't run but just needs a fuel pump. No lowballers, I know what I got!!View attachment 260945View attachment 260946View attachment 260947
You can just hear the cat calls and heels clicking on concrete.....
Strange, my 83 and 85 Mercedes both have blue interiors. Still look like new.Got news for you, ain't just ghetto folk who show off.
All my car life, I HATED blue and red car interiors...still do.
European cars, like VW, looked great by comparison with their grey interiors.
I gotta stroll by a lot and see these new red seat hues.
I like that you can set the ambient lighting in the C43 to red. Of course the Club Sport has BMW's classic red instrument lighting. Sadly, it was eliminated and replaced with nonintuitive digital displays in order to wow the rubes and wearers.I love the red in the Lexus where it's just the seat and door hand trim. I can't stand them bmw, audi, or Mazda where it's everywhere.
Red is good light at night though. It doesn't destroy your night vision like other colors.
