why is DextronVI Transmission fluid a a part number mystery?

I have seen on sites the Dextron fluid VI with as much as 4 different labels ,so how do I know which is the latest to purchase . I hear it has a shelf life of 6 years. see photo and I would appreciate a good answer, thanks any one .

I'm confused. Are you talking ATF or PCMO? You posted this in the PCMO section.

Maybe searching for Dexron would help you. There's no such thing as Dextron.

Just FYI, Dexron is for ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) which is different than engine oil.
That is why the engine oil does not have Dexron designation.
