A 88 year old lady that I talk to told me yesterday that heating oil for her first house in Parkville MD in 1965 was 13 cents a gallon on a 100 + gallon fill...

I went through town today and 3 of the 4 gas stations lowered their prices when they just raised them yesterday. I don't think i have ever seen that.. one was $3.39 yesterday and today they went back to $3.25...
That's my favorite Sunoco station.

Assuming this isn't a rhetorical question, nobody wants to invest the billions in rehabilitation of the oil fields and there are no security guarantees.
Here is a way to address this in Iran. Every citizen that resides in Iran, born today or earlier, gets a 25 percent monthly dividend check from the oil sales (gross).

25 percent isnt much per person, but it gives every citizen a vested interest..they key is to have a cutoff, those born tomorrow don't get the dividend check.

If a like program in Iraq was implemented, that country would not have had the ****e/sunni dispute. Amazing how peoples attitudes adjust with some cash in their pocket.

The Iranian people will be guarding the oil wells, oil infrastructure, oil delivery. That is how to get things on target.

I remember my dad complaining when Kerosene hit 18 cents a gallon.

Okay so when prices rise by amount of the dividend check then what?

Not sure there is any correlation..quite possibly Iran increases oil.productio because of a healthy environment to drill and deliver oil, and the price per barrel comes down.
