Why do people pronounce it Huska-murna

I betcha even Swedes have several pronounciation for Husqvarna. It's like Porsche, some Germans pronounced it as Porsh and some Germans pronounce it as Por-shey

I've heard of that too. I have no clue why people put and A between husk and varna. I don't see an A in between there.
Because they’ve seen Frozen and heard Oaken talk so they think it’s like Italian and throw an -a on everything

Because the spelling doesn't look like "hoosk-varna" to American English speakers when they read it. I like Huska-varna even though I know it's incorrect, it's commonly used.
How about pronouncing Stihl as still?
Why don't Americans pronounce Hyundai correctly. Hint: it isn't pronounced Hun-day in Korea. Hun-day isn't celebrated in Rome either.
Hondie (Hon dye)?

BITD we called the dirt bikes Huskys.
A buddy of mine had a 390 Husky back when we used to climb hills at the strip mine pits. That thing was nearly unstoppable. Even if you were hanging off the back of the bike, it would continue pulling...Pang pang pang! I had a YZ490 with a 16oz. flywheel weight and the Husky still had more grunt.

Put them together, and you get "The Mill at the House" (or the Fortress Mill).

..the town is spelled Huskvarna (with a K), but the company is Husqvarna (with a Q)

It helps if you can speak natively svenska.

More like Hyun-deh. I can't spell it the way my aunty says it. It isn't hun and it isn't day.
Hi un day? Sounds like a day off work.. I'm Hi un day today.
I have no idea how to officially pronounce this stuff but it's interesting to know & if I understand correct pronunciation I'll usually stick with that. Thanks (y)

I say Huska-varna. Always have, always will. We Cajuns tend to have our own way of speaking. Water is “wata”, bayou is “baya”. We definitely dont punctuate words like the rest of the country.

Inspection sticker? Thats a brake tag. Water hose? Thats a hose-pipe. A refrigerator? An icebox.

I have heard Husqvarna pronounced many ways but this Huska-murna is beyond me.

I have heard this many times but heard it over the weekend. I get why people call autozone vatozone, but have no idea the "murna" other than Myrna Loy.......

Here are the top 3 I hear.
Hoosk Varna
Husk Varna
Huska Varna
Chicanic channel she always pronounces it Husk Varna

Back in the 1970s when Husqvarna was getting popular with dirt racing (I grew up about 1/2 mile from the famous Davey Coombs in Morgantown, WV), they called it Team Husky. Davey was Team Green as long as I can remember back then. They may have practiced on Penton or similar too.
