OK, you're whining because a couple of people jumped on you. Well, I've got a question for you... exactly how old are you? Is this the type of decision that a rational, mature person makes? Hoping to blow the engine in a car... INTENTIONALLY?
Here's a tip for you, for the next time this happens. Step one: Shut the engine off. Try this the next time, especially if it is *someone else's* car that you happen to be driving.
It isn't so much as 'playing hardball with the big boyz', it is called using some common sense.
