Many manuals, Yuasa is stated in the manual as oem, but many times the battery is a generic and not an actual Yuasa.

Fukarama is a knock off they sometimes use instead.

I'm sure you'd be fine with either, but if EVERY Japanese manufacturer only uses YUASA, I think that speaks much to their quality and dependability.

I agree 100% on the YUASA Batteries, I also believe others about Deka, just never used them.
Yuasa, Made in USA, OEM on many metrics, reason I like Yuasa so well is in my industry (security systems) Yuasa is ALWAYS the battery of choice for back up power in security systems. You know if your putting in/replacing a back up battery your good for years to come unlike a lot of other knock off brands.

I do not agree with your statement on Lithium batteries. I would STAY AWAY from lithium, its ALL marketing why people buy lithium for bikes.
The ONLY time I would use lithium is if the product came OEM with it. Charging systems in bikes and automobile are made for lead acid batteries, the lithium thing is complete [censored] and WAY overrated (over marketed too) unless you are looking for a short life battery, for example on a race circuit to reduce weight.
A lithium battery in a bike is a total waste of money, same as if you put one in your car UNLESS THE BIKE OR CAR came OEM with one which I think will be a loooong time if ever. (not talking electric vehicles before someone brings it up*L*)
