So besides myself and Dnewton3; who else here is using the Rural King motor oil? It's API licensed and cheaper than ST oil I note. I'm using it in a 98' Cavalier(girlfriends) and her Chrysler 200

I used the RK 0w-20 synthetic for the first OC in my leased 2015 Outback. It was $2.79 a quart. Warren Unilube has been around a long time, and I have eyeballed its operation in Dunn, NC. A manager at the company told me that the RK synthetic is "similar...extremely similar" to Warren's Lubrigold.

I have no reason to doubt the quality of their synthetic product.

Bought a case of HD30 for $1.29/qt to use as top-off oil for those cars that we have that need to be topped off between changes. It'll also likely get used in the OPEs.
A straight grade oil is probably the best choice for any sort of mixing, since there are no VIIs to worry about.
RK oil is probably the equal of the more costly Walmart store brand.
Maybe RK's costs are lower than Walmart's?
This oil seems a good deal while it lasts at current prices.

My feeling and thoughts are that if its API licensed and as NormanBuntz said in another older post about it "they are not a backyard blender" then it's OK for me to use. At like $1.70~ it's cheaper by the case than Wal marts ST oil
