Who will replace Fram filters at Walmart?

But Walmart is stocking them on the shelves. This thread is speculating about what the store shelves will look like. We see that Mobil 1's are being stocked as they've been for a while but seem to get more shelf space now. My comment is in regards to what will happen after Fram stock is depleted. Mobil 1's may get even more shelf space. That's what I was trying to convey of who WM would rely on to fill the space.
If it is more Mobil 1 we will all be ok as they have always sold good/decent filters. I have never had a problem with them. Really not any brand. If it goes to Purolator we also will probably be ok as they sell pretty good , decent priced filters too. Those shelves will probably get filled faster than we can complain, unless product shipment from overseas gets disrupted. Since I do not think North America even makes many if any filters here anymore , across the seas shipping should be the only slow down.

I ordered a Wix XP from Amazon for $9.xx just to see it. It was made in Mexico, which is better than other options, but I sent it back.
Thanks to this site Bob Guy I wasted time looking at Walmart. What I noticed was oil is now SQ rated, and stocks seems to be low on many. So I bought two jugs of Pennz Plat. for $23.xx each. There is a $30 rebate going from Penzz. on the two jugs. Thank you Bob Guy.

At my local Walmart, Purolator and Mobil 1 are taking a lot of the old Fram spots, with Suptech, and OEM (Mopar, AC, Motorcraft, Toyota, etc) holding their own.

God I hope not. Their Mexican made filters have been less than ideal.
I ordered up a few Bosch filters not knowing they went to Mexico since my last batch. I hate when they quietly do that!
Geuss I'll use them, too much $$ loss If I dont.

Aren't Bosch made by Purolator?
Not according to Mann+Hummel (who makes Purolators). Below is an email response I got from M+H when asking if they still made Bosch oil filters.

Once they got up to speed, shipping should be OK. You can get a billion oil filters in a bunch of shipping containers once a week if you wanted. :D

It wasn't recently, but I've seen photos in ads for Bosch cartridges that looked exactly like the 2012-vintage Purolator L16311 (correspond to Fram 10358) filters I bought in 2014.

No brand or manufacturer makes a complete catalog of oil filters. They all do contract runs for each other, especially when it comes to cartridge filter.

I think it will go to Purolator soon. I remember when Walmarr stocked Purolator for a short period and switched back to Fram. At our local two stores they've never stocked the new Purolator gold filters.
I’ve noticed the gold Puro’s at my local Walmart about a month ago.

Oil filter stock at my local Walmart is getting very thin. All Fram flavors of the 3614 and 7317 gone among others. Mobil 1 filters are getting restocked frequently as I have seen the M110-a (7317) come in and out of stock on every other recent visit.
The M110a is what goes on my wife’s civic. I always shoot for those, but I’ve settled for the Fram TG7317 the last 3-4 cycles because my local Walmart never seemed to have stock of the M110a. Now it’s the other way around.

I am currently using Mopar and Subaru O.E. It is nice that Walmart stocks them at the SuperCenter up the state highway a bit - that saves me a 30 mile round trip two towns East to hit the dealership(s)
