Any guesses? My first thought was Purolator because they have a decent selection of oil, air and cabin filters.
Who will replace Fram filters at Walmart?

Yeah, you're probably right. Unfortunately, Purolator most likely will replace Fram at Walmart

We can hope, but we're not the ones's paying for it.
It depends on who wants to buy the shelf space. Walmart already has many suppliers including purolator, so they would be a good guess.
The Mobil 1 filter is very close if not identical. Thought pattern is Warren contracts with the same manufacturers in Asia as does PG.
Mobil 1 oil filters look like PG these days (same factory anyway.) Decent price at Walmart, but still $$$$......
Those Purolator LX 20K filters are yuk......so, no thanks. I wouldn't spin one of those on my cars if it was free....

Ironically some made in China filters might actually be higher quality.
Either way just get the Mobil1 at Walmart if you want the best they offer. Otherwise the Supertech is surprisingly good.
This definitely put a huge impact on the automotive replacement market. Sad thing is we complain and moan about a suitable supplier to fill the shelves but its the lively hood of employees and their families catching the brunt. No reason wally can't hit up Mann+Hummel & PGI to produce a line equivalent to MicroGard and MicroGard Select

I completely forgot about the impact Fram will have on Wal Mart filter stock. With Champ Labs a part of the First Brands fiasco they can't increase their Supertech line of filters so they dissapear as well so I guess Purolater is the best guess!

Agree, with the caveat I would rather not support China, if I have a reasonable alternative.
Sorry, I meant paying to obtain a new supplier and stock their shelves with a new product. Hoping it's PGI, instead of Purolator.
