"his pitch was right on the nose: his word enunciations letter perfect: his understanding of a song thorough. He will be missed very much not only by myself, but by his fans all over the world".

Correct weight Zaedock. Now who remembers two famous songs MM sang?
I know one off the top of my head (i.e. no internet help). He sang Softly as I Leave You. He died very young, in his early 50's IIRC.

And I seem to recall he was called the English answer to Sinatra. The lyrics to "My Kind of Girl" keep running through my head: She looks like an angel looks, She even cooks like an angel cooks; And my mind's in a kind of whirl -- To my mind she's my kind of girl And my heart's kinda filled with joy, Because she told me I'm her kind of boy!
